RESOLUTION NO. 77-115
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN
CERTAIN TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DESIGNATED
"RED HILL-SAN JUAN ANNEXATION NO. 104"..
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does
hereby resolve as follows-
1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Government Code
of the State of California, application was made to the Local
Agency Formation Commission to annex to the City of Tustin all
that territory situate in the County of Orange, State of Californi
designated "RED HILL-SAN JUAN ANNEXATION NO. 104", described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference as though set forth herein in full.
2. The Local Agen~ Formation Commission, in session
duly assembled on November 9, 1977, did accept the negative dec-
laration filed by the City and did approve said proposed annexatio
and authorize the City Council to annex said territory without
notice, hearing, or election.
3. Ail of the owners of land within the territory
proposed to be annexed have given their written consent to the
annexation of said territory to the City of Tustin.
4. The City Council desires to annex said territory to
the City of Tustin for the following reasons- The territory
is contiguous to the City of Tustin and its proposed annexation
will contribute'to and facilitate the orderly growth and develop-
ment of both the City and the territory proposed to be annexed,
will facilitate and contribute to the proper and orderly layout,
design and construction of streets, gutters, sidewalks, both in
the City and in the territory proposed to be annexed, and will
provide and facilitate proper over-all planning of lands in sa£d
City and in said territory, in a manner most conducive to the
welfare of the City and said uninhabited territory.
5. The property within this annexation is all public
property and not subject to bonded indebtedness and taxation.
6. The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby
approve the annexation of the territory hereinabove described to
the City of Tustin, and does hereby further resolve that the
said territory be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Tustin,
upon the date of the filing of the certified copy of this
Resolution with the Secretary of State of the State of California.
7. The City Clerk of the City of Tustin is hereby
directed to transmit to the Secretary of State of the State of
California, a certified copy of this Resoltuion.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 14th
day of November, 1977.

TO THE CITY OF TUSI'IN, CALIFORNIA
Beginning at an angle point in the existing City of Tustin boundary as established
by the Bryan-Red Iti ll Annexation per Ordinance No. 172, passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Tustin, June 4, 1962, said angle point being the south-
westerly terminus of that certain course described as N. 39° 5~' 12" E., 627 feet,
more or less, in said Bryan-Red Hill annexation, said angle point also being the
southerly corner of Tract No. 6288 as per map recorded in Book 245 pages 24 and 25
of miscellaneous maps, records of Orange County, California;
Thence, leaving said City of Tu.stin boundary, S. '39° 54' 48" W., along the south-
westerly prolongation of them southeasterly boundary of said Tract No. 6288, a
distance of 33.00 feet to the point of intersection with the existing centerline
of San juan Street as shown on said map of Tract No. 6288;
Thence, N. 50o 00' 59" W., along said centerline of San Juan Street, a distance of
180.49 feet to an angle point in the existing City of Tustin boundary as establishe~?
by Parcel "B" of the Irvine - Myford Annexation No. 81 (amended), per Ordinance No.
716, passed and adopted by the City Council of the Citylof Tustin, April 4, 1977;
Thence, along the existing City of Tustin boundary per above mentioned Parcel "B"
of the Irvine-Myford Annexation No. 81 (amended) and the First Southern Baptist
Church of Tustin Annexation per Ordinance No. 169, passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Tustin, February 19, 1962, through the following
courses;
N. 50° 00' 59" W., a distance of 479.61 feet; thence, N. 50o Ol' 32" W., a distance
of 40.00 feet; thence, S. 39o 54' 12" W., a distance of 30.00 feet; thence, N. 50o
Ol' 32" W., a distance of 30.04 feet to a point on said City of Tustin boundary;
Thence, leaving said City of Tustin boundary, N. 39o 58' 28" E., a distance of
64.00 feet to an angle point in the northerly right-of-way line of San Juan Street,
'said angle point also being the westerly tip of a triangular shaped parcel describ---~i.
as Parcel Z20-143.1 in the amended final order of condemnation recorded in Book 8' ,
Pages 133 and 134, of Official Records of said Orange County;
Thence, N. 84o 56' 20" E., along' the northerly line of said Parcel 143.1, a
distance of 28.27 feet- to the point of'intersection with the northwesterly line
of Parcel Z20-143 as described in said final order of condemnation, said north-
westerly line also being the existing northwesterly right-of-way line of Red ttill
Avenue;
Thence, N. 39o 54' 12" E., along said northwesterly lineand northwesterly right-
of-way line, a distance of 5.96 feet to a point;
Thence, leaving said northwesterly line and northwesterly right-of-way line, S.
50o 05' 48" E., a distance of lO0.O0 feet to the point of tangency of the existing
southeasterly right-of-way line of Red Hill with a curve concave northeasterly and
having a radius of 27.00 feet, as shown on previously mentioned Tract No. 6288'.
Thence, southwesterly along ithe arc of said curve, th'rough a central angle of 89°
55' ll" an arc distance of 42.37 feet to the point of tangency with the existing
northeasterly right-of-way line of San Juan Street as shown on said Tract No.
6288;
Thence, S. 50o 00' 59" E., along said northeasterly right-of-way line of San Juan
Street, a distance of 583.14 feet to the .point of beginning.
