RESOLUTION NO. 77-74
·
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUE OF
THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1977-78.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 2,/~1. of the Tustin Municipal
Code, the City Administrator has prepared and submitted to the City Council
a proposed annua'l budget for the 1977-78 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1977;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council, as the legislative body of the City,
has reviewed this proposed budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary for
the efficient management of the City that certain sums of revenue of the
City be appropriated to the various departments, offices, agencies and
activities of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby
resolve, determine and order as follows'
Section 1' A certain document on file in three (3) copies in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Tustin, being marked and designated
"1977-78 Annual Budget", said document as prepared by the City Administrator
and reviewed by the City Council, is hereby adopted for the fiscal year ....
commencing July 1, 1977.
Section 2' The following sums of money are hereby appropriated
from the revenue of the City of Tustin to the following named departments,
offices, agencies, and activities of the City for expenditure during the
1977-78 fi scal year.

Section 3' Revenue Sharing Funds in the amount of $170,000 a.re
anticipated to be received during the year ond are appropriated as follows'
$20,000 for landscaping Newport Avenue Center Islands, and $150,OO0 for
..~complet|on of City Maintenance Yard Project.

Section 4' Redevelopment Agency revenues are estimated to be
$367,900 from property tax incremental sources. The proceeds are to be used
as follows-

Section 5: The City General Fund will make a $300,000 loan to
the Redevelopment Agency effective July l, 1977, in order to commence its
various programs and projects which shall be repaid with seven (7) percent
interest as tax increment funds are received by the. Agency. The Agency
will completely repay the loan prior to the end of the fiscal year on dune 30,
1978.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin City Council
held on the fifth day of July, 1977.
