RESOLUTION NO. 77-62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN PETITIONING THE LOCAL
AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION FOR APPROVAL
OF A BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT WITH THE
CITY OF IRVINE.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as
fol:lows: ·
1. The City Council finds and determines:
a. That the intent of the property owner and the
governmental agencies at the time of the
incorporation of the City of Irvine was. to
establish the boundary betWeen the City of
Tustin and the City of Irvine at the center-
line of the future Myford Road alignment.

b. That the precise alignment of the future
Myford Road has now been set and it-is deter'-
mined to be in the best interest of all
governmental agencies and the general public
for the common Irvine/Tustin cities boundaries
to be established along the centerline of the
precise alignment of future Myford Road.
c. That the City Council of the City of Irvine by
resolution does consent to the detachment of
the property consisting of 0.16 acres of Santa
Ana Freeway right-of-way and located at the
intersection of future Myford Road and the Santa
Ana Freeway as described in Exhibit "~" attached
and as. shown on a map Exhibit "B" attached.
d. That said detachment from the City of Irvine and
annexation to the City of Tustin meets the
approval of the property owner, with letter of
consent attached hereto as Exhibit "C".
e. That the City of Tustin is the Lead Agency as
defined by Section 15065 of the Guidelines For
Implementation of the California Environmental
Quality Act of 1970 and, pursuant to Section
15067, this proposal is exempt from the require-
ment .for an Environmental Impact Report on the
basis that EIR 76-5 certified by the City
Council on December 20, 1976, and by the Local
Agency Formation Commission on January 26, 1977
addresses said proposal.

f. That said annexation proposal and boundary line
adjustment is in conformance with the City of
Tustin General Plan.

The City Council of the City of Tustin hereby
petitions the Local Agency Formation Commission,
pursuant to Section 35-304 and Section 547-97.1
of the Government Code of the State of California,
to approve the annexation to the City of Tustin of
the property as described and depicted in Exhibits
"A" and "B", with Waiver of Hearing and Notice.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the

nia, per City of Tustin Rekolution No. 71-79 passed and adopted on
December 6, 1971, said corner being on the southwesterly line of Block
44, Irvine's subdivision, as per map recorded in Book 1, page 88 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, said corner
being N. 49° 20' 32" W., distant 1147' feet more' or less from the most
southerly corner of said Block 44;
Thence, along the existing City of Tustin boundary as established by the
Parcel A Irvine-Myford Annexation No. 81 (amended), per City of Tustin
Ordinance No. 716 passed and adopted April 4, 1977, through the following
described courses-
N. 41° 25' 26" E., 130.00 feet
S. 55° 03' 29" E., 40.68 feet
S. 49° 20' 32" E., 12.67 feet
Thence, S. 40° 36' 34" W., a distance of 134.04 feet to the most easterly
corner of the Myford Realignment Annexation No. 86 to the City of Tustin,
California, per City of Tustin Resolution No. 74-71, passed and adopted

October 21, 1974;

Thence, N. 49° 20' 32" W., al6ng the existing boundary of the City of
Tustin as established by last mentioned annexation a distance of 55.00
feet to the point of beginning.
