HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 83-085RESOLUTION NO. 83-85 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE MASTER PROPERTY TAX TRANSFER AGREEMENT FOR PROPOSED TUSTIN WATER UTILITY ANNEXATION NO. 131 WHEREAS, a Master Property Tax Transfer Agreement dated October 28, 1983 has been approved by the Board of Supervisors of:' Orange County and the City Council of the City of Tustin pursuant to Section 99(d) ofl the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of Cali forni a; and WHEREAS, the City of Tustin has filed a proposal with the Local Agency Formation Commission for the annexation of the territory known as Tustin Water Utility Annexation No. 131 to the City of Tustin. WHEREAS, said annexation proposal consists of 11 parcels (Parcels A-K) and a total of 3.68 acres used as reservoir and well sites of which ten are in the unincorporated area of Orange County and Parcel "D" is within the incorporated limits of the City of Orange, as further described by Exhibit "A". NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tustin that the Master Agreement providing for the transfer of property tax revenues, as approved by the Board of Supervisors and the City Council on November 18, 1980, is applicable to 'the proposed "Tustin Water Utility Annexation No. 131 to the City of Tustin as undeveloped 'property, and said properties shall be eligible for exemption from property taxes as long as they remain in fee and use by the City of Tustin; pursuant to Section 202(a){4) of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
