HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 77-12RESOLUTION NO. 77-12 RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE PRIORITY PLAN FOR EXPENDITURES FOR JURISDICTIONS WITHIN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FROM THE NEJEDLY-HART STATE, URBAN, AND COASTAL PARK BOND ACT OF 1976 the "c.:jadly-}iart State, Urban and Coastal Park Bond Act of 1976 and authorized issuance of bonds in the a~;.ount of $280 million to provide funds to acquire, develop, and ra3tore rea" property for state and local park, beach, recreational and historical purposes; and WHEREAS,. approximately $6.9 million of these funds will be available for use . by Orange Coun%y and its cities and districts for the acquisition and development of high priority pro~ ~'acts; and ~%~HEREAS, Section 5096.127 of ~he Public Resources Code requires that eaci~ County of the Sta~e submit a priority plan of expenditures to the State Depart~T, ent of Parks and Recreation prior to June 30, 1978; and WHEREAS, the plan ~,ust be approved by at least 50 percent of the cities and districts within the County representing at least 50 percent of the population of tiaa cities and distr-'cts, and by the County Board of Supervisors; and WHEREAS, similar provisions were required for State. Beach, Park,. Historical and ..
