HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 76-1158 10 11 15 15 16 17 I8 19 ~0 ~4 ~? ~8 3O 31 255 RESOLUTION NO. 76-115 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CONCURRING WITH THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS' INTENT TO DECLARE CERTAIN CITY STREETS TO BE A COUNTY HIGHWAY DURING THE PERIOD OF IMPROVEMENT BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE WHEREAS, the intersections of Seventeenth Street, Prospect Avenue and Laurinda Way .lying within the City Limits of Tustin is deemed to be a highway of County-wide importance, WHEREAS, the County of Orange proposes to improve said portion of Seventeenth Street, Prospect Avenue and Laurinda Way, .. %~4E~AS, the Board of Supervisors intends to declare these intersections to be a County highway during the period of improvement of said intersections by the County; and WHEREAS, the City of Tustin concurs with said improvement of these intersections, by County and desires to consent to the establishment of said portions of these intersections as a County highway during the period of said improvement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT REsoLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Section 1701, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code, the City of Tustin does concur with the Orange County Board of Super-' visors' intent to declare the intersections of Seventeenth Street, Prospect Avenue and Laurinda Way, lying within the City Limits of Tustin to be a County highway during the period of improvement by' the County of Orange. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to transmit to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange a certified copy of this Resolution.
