HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 76-080RESOLUTION NO. 76-80 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN GRANTING A USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. UP 76-14 OF JOHN S. GRITTITH & COMPANY 1. The City Council finds and determines as follows- · a~.· That a proper application (UP 76-14) was filed on behalf of'John S. Griffith & Company for a Use Permit to authorize the construction of a shopping center for the property bou~ded on the east by · Holt, north by Irvin~ Blvd and ~outh by F~rst S~ b. That the Planning Commis.sion, by Resol:ution No. 1.528, approved the proposed use permit subject to conditions. c. That the City Council did on its own motion schedule a p~blic hearing duly called, noticed and held on said application.' d. That the staff has met with the developer and by mutual .agreement, the following development con- cepts have been accepted: 1. One-way traffic aisles shall be 20' in width and two-way traffic aisles shall be 25', with' the exception of the drive aisle, adjacent to the main structures. - 2. Egress from the bank teller drive shall, be provided to First Street. 3. Drive aisles adjacent to 90° parking shall be 25' in width. 4. A shade shelter is recommended for location at the bus stop area.. .. 5. Parking lot lighting shall not exceed 24' in height. 6. Shopping cart storage 'locations shall be shown on the plot plan. ~ Parking accommodations shall be provided for not less than 700 vehicle spaces. 8. Traffic circulation on the parking lot will be directed by the addition of. concrete medians with tree wells. , 9. Pedestrian access will be provided from First Street and Irvine Boulevard to the front of the main structures. 10. A median traffic island width of 7' shall suffice in lieu of landscape islands.. . · Resolution No. 76-80 8-2-76, Page 2 The City Council hereby approves Use Permit 76-14 in accordance with the revised conceptual plans as sub- mited, on August 2, 1976 and subject to the adopted. policies and procedures for. development, of the. City of Tustin.
