RESOLUTION NO. 75-62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF
TUSTIN CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
(EIR 75-2) FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE TUSTIN AREA
LAND USE AND OPEN SPACE ELEMENTS OF THE GENERAL.
PLAN FOR PEPPERTREE NEIGHBORHOOD
The City Council of the City of' Tustin does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The City Council finds and determines-
a. That a Draft Environmental Impact Report
(EIR 75-2; was filed by The Irvine Company
for the purpose of evaluating the impact
of a proposed amendment to the Open Space
and Land Use Elements of the General Plan
to authorize the development of a single-
family' residential subdivision on a portion
of Lot 116 of Tract 7813 for the Peppertree
Neighborhood.
b. 'That a public hearing was duly advertised
and held on .raid EIR, with independent
evaluation and continents received from
interested persons and agencies.
c. That the EIR indicates adverse· impacts of
the proposed reduction in open space serving
a neighborhood of 354 single-family residen-
rial units, and lack of convenient
neighborhood school site.

d'. That mitigating-measures consist of 'the ·
more intensive use of park land to consist
of the addition of three tennis courts, two
of which are to be constructed at no public
expense.
2. The City Council hereby certifies Environmental
Impact Report No. 75-2 to consist of the draf't,
amendments, addenda and related correspondence
and comments.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council,
held on the 6th day of October, 1975.
