HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 75-17 RESOLUTION NO. 75-17 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING THE PREVAILING RATES OF WAGE TO BE PAID ON PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of' Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, it is necessary that the City Council of the City of Tustin, ascertain and determine the general prevailing ra'kes of Wage on Public works and by the provisions of said Code it is mandatory upon the awarding body of any public improvement to ascertain and determine the general prevailing rates of wage in the locality in which the work is to be performed, for each. craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute the contract, and alto the general prevailing rate for legal holidays and overtime work for each craft or ty.~e~, of workman or mechanic.
