RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL. CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ORDERING TtIE SALE OF SURPLUS
PROPERTY AT 155 WEST' FIRST STREET, TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA.
The City Couc~cil,
resolve as follows-
City of 'Tustin, California, does hereby

hereby find and determine:
(a)
City of ~ustin, California, does

That the property at 155 West First Street, Tustin,
California, was acquired by the City of Tustin, Cal-
ifornia, in conjunction with and as a part of the
project for

needed for. any present or prospective public use amd is
therefore excess and surplus land, to wit, the property.

protest hearing on this matter and no protests were

received. At the conclusion of said protest hearing
a vote of not less than four-fifths ·(4/5ths) of the

That all of the provisions and requirements of law
relative to the sale have been duly co~plted and that
said sale should be approved, ordered and consummated.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, FINDING AND DETERMINING TIIAT PUBLIC
INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE REQUIRE~THE SALE OF REAL
PROPERTY AT 145 WEST FIRST STREET, TUSTIN, CA.
RESOLUTION N0. 74-73
The City Council, City of Tustin, California, does hereby
resolve as follows:
1) The City Council hereby finds and determines as
follows:
(a)
(b)
That the property at 145 West First Street,
Tustin, California, was acquired by the City of Tustin,
in conjunction with and as a part of the project for
the widening and improvement of First Street;
That there is a portion of said property which is not
needed for any present or prospective public use, and
is therefore excess and surplas land, to wit, the
property acquired by the City of Tustin with the
exception of those portions required and to be retained
for street and public purposes.
(c) That the public interest and convenience require the
sale of said site;
(d) That the site to be sold is as described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this

That the City Council is informed and believes that the

Tustin, to sell the said property to CARL L. WOOD for
the aforesaid sum unless further offers or evidence
presented in the course of these proceedings indicate ~
that a different price or procedure should prevail.
2) That any person who wishes to make an offer to purchase!
the said property for a price higher than that hereinabove.set i
forth may do so at or before the time of the said hearing, and
any and all such persons are hereby solicited to do so.
3) That a hearing is set for November 4, 1974, at 7:30
o'clock P.M."in the Council Chamber of the City of Tustin at f
275 South C Street, Tustin, California, at which time and place
any and all persons interested in said proposed sale may appear, ~
make offers, protest the proposed sale, and/or otherwise be
heard, and may at said hearing, or prior thereto, cause to be
delivered to the City Clerk of the City of Tustin any written
offer to purchase and/or protest concerning the proposed sale.
The City Council shall pass upon any and all offers and protests•
at said time and place.
4) That a copy of this Resolution shall be published
once in the Tustin News, a weekly newspaper published and circular
