HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 74-19RESOLUTION NO. 74-19 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING GRANT OF EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR PROVISION FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE WHEREAS, the City of Tustin is in the process of constructing a Civic Center at Centennial Way and Main Street in the City of Tustin~ and ... , WHEREAS, it is necessary that electrical service be · provided to said Civic Center, and WHEREAS, in order to provide electrical service' to .. said property it is necessary to grant an easement for under- ground electrical supply systems to the Southern California Edison Company. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA; DOES HEREBY RESOLVE that it hereby approves, authorizes and directs that the Mayor and City Clerk execute and deliver to Southern California Edison Company a Grant of Easement in a form attached hereto and incorporated by this reference. FIR~ ~AME CITY OF TUSTIN, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Grantor"), hereby grants to SOUTItERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation, its successors and assigns (hereinafter referred to as "Grantee"), an easement and right of way to construCt,use, maintain, operate, alter, add to, repair, replace, reconstruct, inspect and remove at any time and from time to' time underground electrical supply systems and com~mnication systems (hereinafter referred to as.
