WHEttEAS', 'it is the intention of of Tustin, California, to construct miscellaneous locations, And the Ci'ty Council sidewalk and curb of the City repairs at WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented plans and for the construction of said work at these locations,. specifications NOW, THEREFORE, BE 'IT RESOI, VED that the plans and specifications presented by the 'City Engineer be and are hereby approved as the plans and specifications for the const, ruction of sidewalk and curb repair at miscellaneous locations. Bidder's bond execu'ted by an accredited surety insurer, made payable to the City of Tustin The security~ shall be in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of tl~e amount of the bid. A bid shall not be considered unless on'e of, the forms of bidder's security is enclosed therewith. A Surety Bond for payment"of labor and materials will be required in the amount of fity percent (50%) of the estimated total contract price and a Faithful Performance Bond ii] the amount of one ' hundred percent (100%) of the estimated total contrac't price in %he form attached to the contract documents' Said bonds shall be issued by a company having a rating of A+AA or better. City of Tustin reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and/or waive any informality on a bid. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder based on the total price of either the base bid or the alternate bid.
