SUBJECT: SURPLUS EQUIPMENT SALES REPORT
SUMMARY
Notice of the sale of surplus equipment at public auction in accordance with Section 1626 of the
Tustin Municipal Code.
RECOMMENDATION
Receive and file.
FISCAL IMPACT
The total proceeds in the amount of $ 10,660.00 received from the subject sale will be credited
to the applicable City Funds.
BACKGROUND
On May 20, 2008 the Tustin City Council declared certain equipment surplus and not required
for public use and authorized its sale at public auction in accordance with Section 1626 of the
Tustin Municipal Code.
The vehicles and equipment listed on the attached report were sold at public auction on May
31, 2008. The following is a summary of the sales proceeds and costs:
Gross Proceeds $ 10,900.00
Transportation Costs - $ 90.00
Safety Inspection Charges - $ 150.00
Net Proceeds $ 10,660.00
