RESOLUTION NO. 72-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, ACCEPTING BID PROPOSALS
AND AWARDING THE WORK FOR CHAPTER 27 ."
PROJECT 72-4, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF STREET
IMPROVEMENTS ON LAGUNA ROAD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
did adopt Resolution No. 72-10 ordering the Superintendent
of Streets to proceed with the construction of street
improvements at certain locations set forth in said Resolution;
and; .
WHEREAS, the petition presented by the property owner
expressly waived the sixty-day period for commencing the.
construction; and,
WHEREAS, sealed bids were' asked for the construction of
the street improvements specified in said Resolution; and,
· WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of October, 1972, in the Office
of the City Clerk of the City of Tustin, all sealed bids
were publicly opened and examined and said bids have been
referred to the City Council for consideration,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
' Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Tustin,
California, hereby awards the work to the lowest responsible
bidder as indicated below:
~-ALLUZZO AND SONS, INC.
at the prices named in the bid on file in the Office of the
City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That the work shall be completed in accordance
with the Construction Plans, Standard Specifications, and
standard drawings and shall be diligently pursued to
completion within 30 calendar days of the notice of award
of bi d. ~
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 2nd
day of October, 1972.
