RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL ENHANCEMENT
,WHEREAS, the County Government and certain cities of
Orange County have committed the receipts of sales tax, from the
sale of gasoline authorized by SB. 325, for the enhancement of
the physical environment; and
WHEREAS, there is a. consensus that maximum benefit will
be 'derived to the residents of the city and citizens of this
County by coordinated programs and expenditures for recreation,
open space, trails, and environmental amenities; and
WHEREAS, it ha~ been the policy of the City Council of
the City of Tustin to regularly and consistentIy allocate sub-
stantial tax revenues for environmental amenities to include
landscape areas, parks and recreation facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
(1) This Council does hereby agree to continue to
allocate tax revenues for the enhancement of the
physical environment of the community.
(2) This Council. does agree to appoint a repre-
sentative to attend such meetings as are necessary
to make recommendations and effect coordinated use
of tax resources for environmental enhancement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
