RESOLUTION NO. 71-61
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN ."ACCEPTING
BID PROPOSALS AND AWARDING THE WORK FOR
CHAPTER 27 PROJECT 71-1, CONSTRUCTION OF · .
S.I.P. 68 STORM DRAIN EXTENSION
WHEREAS, the City CounCil of the City of Tustin, California,
did adopt Resolution N.Q. 71-39A ordering the Superintendent
of'Streets to proceed with the construction of drainage
facilities at certain locations set forth in said Resolution,
if the construction, was 'not done by the property' owners; and,
·
WHEREAS, the petition .presented by the propert'y owners
expressly waived the sixty-day period for commencing the
construction; and,
·
WHEREAS,. sealed bids were asked for the construction of the
drainage facilities specified-in said Resolution'; and,
WHEREAS, oh the 30th day, of August, 1971, in the Office Of
the City Clerk of the City of Tustin, all sealed bids were
publicly opened and examined and said bids have' been referred
to the City Council for consideration,

NOW, THEREFORE, 'THE CITY' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA," DOES HEREBY ~RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the city Council of the City of Tustin,
California, hereby awards the work to the lowest responsible
bidder as indicated below:
CREDENCE CONSTRUCTION CO., P.O. Box 182, Laguna, California
,
at the prices named in the .bid on file in the office of the
City Clerk of said City... .
Section 2. That the work Shall be completed in accordance
with the Construction plans,. Standard Specifications, and
standard drawings and shall be diligently pursued to
completion within 30 calendar days of the no'tice of award
of bid. ·
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 20th day of September,
1971.
