RESOLUTION NO. 71-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING POLICY NO. 80-3 ·
RELATIVE TO CRITERIA FOR PRESENTATION OF CITY
PLAQUES
The City Council of the City of Tustin,
California,
does hereby resolve as follows.
That Council Policy No. 80-3, relative to criteria
for presentation of City plaques,
a copy of which is attached
hereto marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this
reference, is hereby approved and adopted, and incorporated
in the Council Policy Manual.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, held on the lst day of February, 1971.

To establish criteriaI for Presentation of City plaques.
It is the policy of the City of Tustin that Commemorative
Pl'aques may be'presented to'an individual, groups or
organizations from time to time based on the approval
of the City. Council. Any member of the City Council,
the City Administrator, the 'Chamber of Commerce, or other
persons may recommend the issuance of a plaque and upon
approval of such recommendation by the City Council,. a
plaque will be so aw.arded..II°wever, in the event of an
unusual circumstance, a plaque may be awarded by the
Mayor or his designee with subsequent aPPrOval from the
City Council.
