'RESOLUTION NO. 70-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITY OF
TUSTIN PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS

does hereby resolve as follows' '

That the City Personnel Rules and Regulations are
hereby amended: as follows-
Section 5F (2) is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 5 SALARY ADMINISTRATION

F-SalarY In Other Instances.

(2) Salary on Promotion. Any employee who is promoted
shall be entitled to at least a five percent
increase and his salary anniversary date shall
not change. An employee who is promoted on his
salary anniversary date shall first receive his
normal increase and then the promotional increase.

Section 8F (3) is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 8 ATTENDANCE AND LEAVES

observed as paid holidays by all employees in
permament positions, except Police and Fire
personnel, as shown below'

Su.spensions shall be reported immediately to
the City Administrator by the appointing power
or Department Head.
A suspension up to thirty (30) working days
of any City employee may be made by or with
the approval of the City Administrator.
Reinstatement. With the approval of the appointing
power, a permanent employee who has resigned with
a good record may be reinstated to his former
position, if vacant, or to a vacant position in
the same of' comparable class. Upon reinstatement,
the employee, for all purposes, shall be considered
a new employee.
