RESOLUTION NO. 70-49
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING DESTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN POLICE DEPARTMENT RECORDS AT LEAST
FIVE YEARS OLD
The City Council of the City of Tus~in, California,
does hereby resolve as follows:
The City Council finds and determines:
l) That the Police Department has in its Possession
certain records which are 'not less than five years old and which

10 Il are not records affecting $itle to real property or .liens thereon,
ll are not Court records, are not records, required ~y statute to be
1~ ' kept, are not minutes, ordinances or resolutions of a legislative
1Z body or of a City board or commission, and which are no longer
14 required, a list of which records is attached hereto, marked Exhi-
15 ~it "A" and incorporated herein by this reference
16 2) That a microphotographic film print of each such

~ against loss, %heft, defacement or destruction.
3) The City ~ttorney has approved in Writing ef the
~4 destruction of said records', a copy of which writing is attached
~5 i hereto and marked Exhibit .B and incorporated herein.
~6 i, The City Counc'il hereby authorizes the Chief of
~7 il Police %o destroy all of the City records, documents, instruments,
books and papers in his charge which meet and comply with the
