RESOLUTION NO. 70-47
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING POLICY NO.
20-12 RELATIVE TO VOLUNTEER FIREMEN PAY
SCHEDULE
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
does hereby resolve as follows:
That Council Policy No. 20-12, establishing the
pay schedule for volunteer fire personnel of the City of
Tustin on an hourly basis and to terminate the former
"point" system, a copy of which is attached hereto marked
Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference, is
hereby approved and adopted and incorporated in the Council
Policy Manual.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, held on the 5th day of
October, 1970.

PURPOSE i
To establish the pay schedule for volunteer fire personnel of the
·
City of Tustin on an hourly basis and.to terminate the former
"point" sYstem. .
POLICY
Volunteer Firemen shail receive the following compensation:
1. Rate of pay shall be $3.00 per hour (or as hereafter
approved in the City's Budget) with a minimum of two
ho.urs per call.
2. Calls shall include meetings, drills and actual calls
for service.

3. Volunteers shall be paid the first payday of each .month
for the hours worked in the preceding' month.
4. The effective date of this policy shall be July 1, 1970.
