RESOLUTOIN NO. 70-42
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING THE PREVAILING
RATES OF WAGE TO BE PAID ON PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS IN
THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA.
W~{EREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the
Labor Code of the State of California, it is necessary tha. t the
City Council of the City of Tustin, ascertain and determine' the'
general prevailing rates of wage on public works and by the pro-
visions of said Code it is mandatory upon the awardi~g body of
any public improvement to ascertain and determine the general
prevailing rates of wage in the locality in which the work is to
be performed, for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed
to execute the contract, and 'also the general prevailing rate for
legal holidays and overtime work for each craft or type ...of workman
or mechanic.

Abbreviations Used in the foregoing schedule of preVailing
wage rates in conjunction with employer payments listed in the
right hand columns are identified as follows:
phw = per hour worked
phw/p = per. hour worked or paid

Employer payments other than those itemized herein, as
defined in Section 1773.1 of the Labor Code, are to be paid in
accordance with the terms of the collective bargaining agr. ee-
ment applicable to the type or classification of the workmen or
mechanics employed on the project.
