HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 70-20RESOLUTION NO. 70-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI;TY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS AND INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AD HIGHWAY LIGHTING AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF RED HILL AVENUE AND SYCAMORE AVENUE, AND RED HILL AENUE AND WALNUT AVENUE AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS. WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the .City of Tustin, California, to construct road improvements, traffic signals and highway lighting at the intersections of Red Hill Avenue and Sycamore Avenue, and Red Hill Avenue and Walnut Avenue, and WHEREAS, thc City Engineer has.presented plans and spccifi¢:ations for the construction of these facilities at this location, NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the plans and specifications pr?sented by the City Engineer be and are hereby approved as thc: plans and' specifications for' the constructi.on of road improverhents, traffic signals and highway lighting at the intersections of Red Hill. Avenue and Sycamore Avenue, and Red Hill Avenue and Walnut AvenUe. BE. IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise as required'by law for the receipt of sealed bids Or proposals for the doing of the work specified in the aforesaid plans and'specifications which said advertisement shall be substantially in the following words and. figures, to -wit' · "NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS" · .
