SUMMARY: The Tustin Area Senior Center Fund, Inc. purchased a 2008 EI Dorado National Aerotech 16 passenger bus and donated the vehicle to the City of Tustin to utilize for the senior citizens transportation program at the Tustin Area Senior Center. The Senior Center Fund raised $61,500 for the purchase of the bus from private donations, fundraising activities and the TASC Gift Shop. The donation of the new bus to the City of Tustin will assist the Tustin Area Senior Center Transportation Program with conducting a safe and reliable program to Tustin area senior citizens for many years. The Transportation Program provides free door-to-door transportation to Tustin residents age 55 and older. Days of operation are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 4pm.
