HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 10141 2 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 1~ 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 3® 31 32 RESOLUTION NO~ 1014 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN FIXING AND DETERMINING THE ANsOUNT OF REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES ON TF-IE TAXAELE PROPER'T'Y v~?ITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO CARRY ON TIIE L~ORK OF TIIE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1969-70, The City Council of the City of Tustin does resolve as follows: Section l: That the City of Tustin has, pursuant to law, heretofore elected to have its duties of assessment and tax collection performed by the County of Orange, through the County Assessor, Tax Collector, Auditor, and other officials of the County of Orange, Section 2: That it is determined that the amount of $36,100®00 is the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the City of Tustin, as revenue to carry on the various departments of the City of Tustin far the year 1969-70w Section 3: That the rate of tax necessary to raise tlZe aforesaid sum of money to carry on the various work for the City of Tustin is the sum of 95~ upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100„00) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Tustin, and that there Le, and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year of 1969-70 of 95~ upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100m00~ of assessed valuation of all real property within the corporate limits of the City of Tustin, for the purpose of carrying on the various work of the City of Tustin for the fiscal year 1969-70~ Section 4: That the City Clerk of the City of Tustin shall certify to the County Auditor of the County of Orange, State of California, a statement of the rate of tax fixed herein, to be extended to him can the 1969-70 Assessment Ro11 for the oollection thereof in the same manner as County Taxes.
