SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF DECEMBER 16, 2008 REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY MEETING
SUMMARY
Staff recommends that the December 16, 2008 City Council and Redevelopment
Agency meetings be cancelled due to lack of quorum.
RECOMMENDATION
Direct the City Clerk to post a Notice of Cancellation for the regularly scheduled
Council and Redevelopment meetings of December 16, 2008 and that the City
Council hereby waives notice of said meeting as required by Government Code
Section §54954.
FISCAL IMPACT
None.
BACKGROUND
The City Council and Redevelopment Agency, which regularly meets on the first and
third Tuesday of each month, has for many years cancelled the second meeting in
December; staff is recommending that the December 16, 2008 meetings be
cancelled.
The Council/Agency members will resume consideration of regular items at their
regular scheduled meeting to be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in the Council
Chamber, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin.
