PUBLIC MEETING:
1. DESIGN REVIEW 08-010 - a request to remodel an existing 3,172 square foot
restaurant.

RECOMMENDATION
That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 08-011
approving Design Review 08-010.
Presentation: Alice Tieu, Associate Planner
The Acting Zoning Administrator explained the process and asked the attendees to
introduce themselves.
Tom Fitzpatrick, Armet Davis Newlove & Associates Architects, stated that he was in
charge of the remodel.
Rijk Wormgoor, Alianza Development International, stated that his firm handles almost all
EI Pollo Loco developments.

The Public Meeting opened at 9:13 a.m.
The Acting Zoning Administrator asked if they had reviewed the staff report and agreed
with all the conditions of approval.
Mr. Wormgoor answered in the affirmative, stated that their intention was to address the
requirements, and noted there would need to be clarification regarding the reslurrying
boundaries.
The Acting Zoning Administrator clarified that the intent of the condition was to make the
repairs needed and make the EI Pollo restaurant parking lot look new.
Mr. Fitzgerald stated that it was their intent to comply, and they would work with Ms. Tieu
to address the limits of the parking lot work and any additional concerns raised in the staff
report.
The Acting Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action 08-011
approving Design Review 08-010.
