RESOLUTION NO 875
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING DEMOLITION
OF PROPERTY AT 210 E. THIRD ST. TUSTIN CA
WHEREAS, the property at 210 E. Third Street, Tustin,
California, more particularly described as-
The north 55 feet of Lots 1, 2 and 3, in Block
46, as sho~,n% on the Map of a "part of Tustin",
recorded in Book 13, Page 81, Miscellaneous
Records of the County of Los Angeles, State of
California;
has been determined to be structurally unsafe, not provided with
adequate egress, a fire hazard and otherwise dangerous to human
life, and a hazard to safety, health and public welfare, by
reason of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, obsolescence and
abandonment, and as such an unsafe building and improvement it
is declared to be a public nuisance and should be abated; and
WHER-.~i-~S, notice to make certain repairs has been duly
given as required by law to the owner or o~naers of said property,
giving them forty-eight (48) houlrs to commence said repairs, and
ninety (90) days to complete said repairs, and said forty-eight
hours have elapsed withou~ commencement of said repairs, and
said ninety days have elapsed without completion of said repairs;

and
WHEREAS, Notice of hearing on Nay 1, 1967, before the
City Council was duly given to the o~rners of said property; and
WHEREAS, no cause was shown
why said property should not
be demolished and said building and improvements removed from said
property, the cost thereof to be paid out of the City Treasury of
the City of Tustin and ch~rsed to the ovmer or owners of the
premises as a special assessment, and the same to be levied as a
special assessment against said property and collected in the
manner provided for special assessments' and.
WHEREAS, it is determined that the owners of the said

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED TP~T'
1. The Building Official is ordered, on or after
June 1, 1967, to demolish and remove said building and improve-
ments located upon said real property; and
2. The cost thereof to be paid out of the C~ity
Treasury.
3. The cost of said demolition is hereby charged to
the o~.-mer or owners of the premises, as a special assessment,
and shall be collected in the manner provided for special
assessments.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 1st day f May, 1967.
