HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 767RESOLUTION NO. 767 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 754,. BY ADDING SECTION 25, CONCERNING ACCEPTANCE OF GRATUITIES BY EMPLOYEES AND APPOINTEES OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN. The City Council of the City of Tustin, does hereby resolve that Resolution No. 754, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Tustin establishing a Compensation Plan for All Employees in the Municipal Service of the City of Tustin, Setting Forth Rules and Regulations Regarding the Payment of Salaries and Other Regulations and Repealing All Conflicting Resolutions of the City Council, be, and the same hereby is amended by the addition thereto of a Section 25, which shall read as follows: Section 25: A. No employee or appointee of the City of Tustin shall accept, receive, or receive any benefit from, any gift, gratuity, present, or any property or service of any kind, nature or value whatsoever, in ahy one or more of the following situations 1) When received from any person or company with whom said employee has contact in the performance of his duties as an employee of the City. 2) When received from any person or company who has or who is expected to have business or professional contact with the City. 3) When received from any person or company who is, or is expected to be, an applicant for, or recipient of any benefit, decision, award or action of any kind or nature from or by City. 4) When received under any circumstances which could false any suspicion in the minds of reasonable men that such receipt might influence said person in any degree. B. Before any employee or appointee shall receive any benefit which possibly would appear to be in violation of any of these prohibitions, approval of the City Council shall be obtained.
