HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 744RESOLUTION NO. 744 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ENDORSING AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PROPOSITIONS A AND B. WHEREAS, on 'the November 3rd ballot there will be County wide bond propositions "A" and "B" which will submit to the voters of the County proposed bonds to finance co.~.st- ruction of a County Court House and County Ja~l; and WHEREAS, the present Court House and. Jail are woefully inadequate, and are costing the taxpayers of the County of Orange consi, derably in. excess of what they would have to 'pay for a properly cor~struct~-~d and financed Court House and. Jail; and WHEREAS, this situatuion will continue to ~row worse and become more and more expensive as 'the County grows, and at 'the same ti. me will leave the County inadequately situated for the admi. n.~str'ation of justice, housi:~g of prisoners and fulfillme.nt of the other functions which the County by law must perform, for itself and for the citizens of all of the County, and for the cities of the County. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ill, SOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tustin, Cal. iforr:ia, that Propositions A and B on the November 3, 1964, ballot are hereby endorsed and. approved and all of the citizens of the County of Crange are urged to vote "Yes" on propositions A and B.
