HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 721RESOLUTION NO. 721 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. U.P. 64-168 OF FOSTER & KLEISER. The City Council of the City of Tustln, California does resolve as follows: Section 1: The City Council finds and determines that a proper application (No. UP 64-168) was filed by Foster & Kleiser for a Conditional Use Permit to permit an advertising structure· in the C-2 zone on the property described as follows: Portion of easterly one-half of Lot 14, Block B, of the A.B. Chapman Tract (the Southerly 200 feet of A.P. 102-200-62) (17621-17th Street). Section 2: The Planning Commission duly called, noticed and held a public hearing on said application and denied same. Section 3: Appeal to the City Council was regularly filed, and the City Council duly called, noticed and held a public hearing on said. appeal. Section 4: The City Council finds and determines that granting of said Conditional Use Permit would not .be detrimental to the property uses and neighborhood surrounding the subject property nor detrimental to the general plan of the City. Section 5: The City Council hereby grants a Conditional Use Permit, as applied for, to permit an outdoor advertising structure, subject to the following conditions. 1) Sign shall be permitted for a period of three(3) years from June 15, 1964, only, and shall be removed by application at that time. 2) That said sign shall conform to the Tustln sign ordinance. 3) That prior to issuance of a building permit the applicant shall post a $100.00 cash bond to guarantee removal of said sign at the end of the prescribed period.
