A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
OF INTENTION TO ABANDON AND VACATE THE PORTION
OF FIRST AND NEWPORT STREETS WITHIN THE CITY
OF TUSTIN.
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, .does
resolve as follows:
Section l~ The City Council determines and deems that

the best interests of the public require that a portion of a
public street, described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made
a part hereof as though set forth in full herein, be closed to
public use, agandoned and vacated by the City,.. and that this
said portion of a public street is unnecessary for present or
prospective street uses.
Section 2: It is the intention of the City Council of

the City of Tustin, California, to abandon the above described
portion of a public street in the City of Tustin, and that on
the 17th day of February, 19(:~, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., which
said date is not less than 15 days after the date of this
Resolution, the City' Council will hold a public hearing in the
Council Chambers, Tustin Youth Center, 600 West Sixth, City of.
Tustin, California, for the purpose of hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandon-
ment; and after said hearing, to make its Order according to its
findings from all the evidence submitted, whether or not such
street is necessar7 for present or prospective street uses, and
if not, to make its Resolution and Order of Abandonment.
Spc.ti0~ 3: That said portion of a public street is
located in the streets commonly known as First Street and New'9ort
Ave nu e.
Section 4: A map of said streets and the said portion
to be vacated are shown on a map on file in' the office of the
City Clerk reference to which is made for further details.
So.cgio_n_~: It is hereb7 directed that this Resolution
shall be published once not less than ten days prior to the
aforesaid public hearingaand that a copy of this 8esolution
with the word "Notice" placed at the top thereof shall be
posted along portions of street to be abandoned at intervals
of not more than 300 feet, and in any case, not less than
3 notices; said notices shall be 'posted not less than
l0 days prior to the date of said public hearing.

Commencing at the intersection of the surveyed centerline of
First Street as shown on a m~p of a Part of Tustin City recorded
in Book 4, pages 218 and 219, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California with a line paral.lel to and 4.00 feet
Northwesterly of as.'.~measured at right angles to the Northwest'

California; Thence, N 39°43"00'' E, along said para.~lel line,
a distance of 131.80 feet to a tangent curve concave North-
westerly and hawing a radius of 3~.00 feet, the Northeasterly,
Northerly and Northwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 68°42'43'', an arc distance of 39.58 feet, to the
intersection of a tangent reversing curve, concave Northeasterly
and having a radius of 124.00 feet; thence, Northwesterly along said
