A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING
THE PREVAILING RATE OF WAGES TO BE PAID FOR THE
PUBLIC WORK DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
NO. 615, AS AMENDED BY RESOLTION NO. 621
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on the 20th day of
August, 1962, adopt Resolution of Intention No. 615 for the
construction of certain sanitary sewers and all 'appurtenances
and appurtenant work in "TUSTIN CITY SEWER ASSESSMENT DIST-
TRICT NO. 1, "and did om~ October 29, 1962, adopted Resolu-
tion No. 62_~, amending said Resolution of Intention No. 615;
and
WHEREAS, prusuant to the provisions of Section 1773
of the Labor Code of the State of California, it is necessary
that the City Council of the City of Tustin ascertain and
determine the general prevailing rate of wages on public works,
and the provisions of said Code make it mandatory upon the
awarding body of any public contract where the ss. id body sub-
sequently calls for bids for any public improvement~to as-
certain and determine the general prevailing rate of per diem
or hourly wages in the locality in which the work is to be
performed, for each craft or type of workman or mechanic need-
ed to execute the contract, and also the general prevailing
rate for legal holiday and oFertime work for each craft or
type of workman or mechanic;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE C IS~/ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUS~
TIN, CALIFORNIA, has ascertained and does hereby determine
that the general prevailing rate of hourly or perdiem wages
in the locality in which the said work.described is to be pre-
formed in the matter of certain public improvements consist-
ing of the construction of sanitary sewers and all appurten-
ances and appurtenant work in "TUSTIN CITY SEWER ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT NO. 1" in said City, as said work is described in
Resolution of Intention No. 615, as amended by Resolution No.
_62!__, of said City, for each craft or type of workman or
mechanic needed to execute the c.~ntract and also the general
prevailing rate for legal holidays and overtime work for each
craft or type of workman or mechanic, to be as follows'

Any classification herein omitted shall not be less than
the prevailing wage rates paid in the County of Orange.
Provided that overtime rate, rates of pay for Saturday,
Sundays and holidays shall apply to those holidays as
recognized in the collective bargaining agreement appli-
cable to the particular cr~aft, classification or' type of
workman employed on the project.
It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom
the contract t,s awarded, and upon any subcontractor under
him, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all
laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by them in the
