HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 594-ARESOLUTION NO. 594-A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR EN- FORCEMENT OF REGULATIONS REGARDING TRAILER PARKS The City Council of the ~itY of Tustin, California, does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin has contract~ed with the Department of Building and Safety of Orange County for enforcemeut of its building regulations, and WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the County of Orange has now undertaken responsibility for enforcement of regulations and is willing to enforce these regulations for the City of Tustin by contract, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Tustin does hereby assume responsibility of the enforcement of Part 2 of Division 13 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California, Section 1800, et seq., and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to transmit a .duly certified copy of this resolution to the Division of Housing of the State of California forthwith, which said certified copy shall constitute writ$~n notice to the Division of Housing of the elect ion of this city, effective immediately, to assume the responsibility outlined in Section 18010 of the Health and Safety Cod~. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Building and Safety, the Fire Chief, and the Health Officer shall enforce the appropriate provisions of the State, as well as the City law governing the subject.
