A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING RENOVATION
OF CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does
resolve as follows:
1. WHEREAS, there is an existing emergency
in the City of Tustin, to wit, that there are not sufficient quarters
to house the personnel necessary to perform basic municipal functions
needed for preservation of public health and welfare, and
2. WHEREAS, there have been submitted to the
City Council, and filed by the City Clerk, certain plans and
speclfications for proposed renovation and remodeling of newly-ac-
quired quarters at 135 West Third Street, Tustin, California, a
3. WHEREAS said renovation and remodeling
of said premises would provide sufficient quarters to relieve
the aforementioned shortage of space for municipal personnel which
are most urgently needed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The requirements of usual municipal bidding
and contracting procedures are hereby waived.
2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed to proceed promptly to have the premises at 135 West
Third Street, Tustin, California, renoved and remodeled according
to the plans and specifications now on file, at a cost not to
exceed Si1,000.00; said work to be done in a manner approved by
the City Engineer and the City Hall Building Committee.
3. There is hereby transferred from the
General Reserve Fund the sum of $11,000.00 to the appropriate
fund for Payment of the aforesaid work.
PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Tustin, held on the 5th day
of March, 1962.

City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby
certify that the whole number of the members of the City
Council of the City of Tustin is five; that the above and
foregoiing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced, read,
passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 5th day of March, 1962, by the following votes.
AYES: Councilmen: Kidd, Humeston, Mack, Sheridan, Doney
NOES; Councilmen: None
