HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 585RESOLUTION NO. 585 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN, RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID-CITY ON APRIL 10, 1962 WHEREAS, a general municipal election is to be held in the City of Tustin on April 10-1962; WHEREAS, in the cour~se of conduct of said e~tion and in relation thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling place cards to the registered voters of the City, and it will facilitate such mailing if the County Clerk of the County of. Orange will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on envelopes furnished by the City; and WHEREAS, all ne~sary expense in performing this service shall be paid by the City of Tustin; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin, does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows' SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the County Clerk to prepare and furnish · to said City, for use in conducting said election to be held on April 10, 1962, the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City, on envelopes furnished by the City. SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County for services performed when the work is completed and upon presentation to the City of a properly approved bill. · SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to said County Clerk each a certified copy of this resolution. January, 1962.
