HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 554RESOLUTION NO. 554 RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF ABANDONMENT The City Council of the City of Tustin does resolve and order as follows: WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Tustin, on April 3rd, 1961., passed Resolution No. 553, a Resolution of Intention to Abandon and Vacate a Portion of Street, relative to a portion of a public street at First Street and D Street in the City of Tustin, more particularly described in said Resolution; and WHEREAS in said Resolution a public hearing was set, and said Resolution was published and three copies of Notices of said hearing were duly posted along the area to be abandoned, and each and all of the aforesaid Notices were duly made more than ten (10) days prior to the date of said public hearing; and WHEREAS on May 1st, 1961, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, the City Council of the City of Tustin held the aforesaid noticed public hearing, and has found that there is no present or anticipated future public use of said area to be abandoned, which area is as described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and. made a part thereof, as though set forth in full. IT IS ORDERED that the above described property be, and the same hereby is, abandoned, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered to have recorded in the office of' the Recorder of the County of Orange, a certified copy of this Resolution and Order. CLERK EXHIBIT A LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS FO}{ THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF FIRST STREET AND "D" STREET 333 AREA TO BE VACATED' Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 10, Block 4, of a part of Tustin City as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book ~, Pages 218 and 219, miscellaneous records of Los Angeles County, California, said northeast cornar being 40 feet westerly of as measure(i at right angles to the surveyed centerline of "D" Street and 33 feet southerly of as measured at right angles to the surveyed centerline of First Street. Thence S 0° 07' 30" E. along the east line' of said Lot 10, a distance of 43.05 feet, to the beginning of a curve concave to the southwest and having a radius of 26 feet, said beginning of curve being the true point of beginning; thence northwest along said curve through a central angle of 90° 06' 00" an arc distance of 40 89 'feet, to a line tangent parallel to and 50 feet southerly of as measured at right angles to the surveyed centerline of First Street; thence S. 89° 46' 30" W. along said parallel line a distance of 26.67 feet to the intersection of a non-tangent curve concave to the southwest and having a radius of 95 feet; thence south- east along said curve through a central angle of 63° 34' 29" an arc distance of 10~.41 feet to the end of said curve, said end of curve being on the east line of Lot 9 of said Block 4; thence N O 07' 30" W. along the east line of said Lots 9 and 10, a distance of 59.12 feet to the true point of beginning. Bearing used herein are based on First Street (N. 89° 46' 30" E.). as recorded in Book 666, page 145 of Official Records of Orange County, Caiifornia.
