HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 548RESOLUTION No. 548 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, ESTABLISH- ING SICK LEAVE BENEFITS FOR CITY EMPLOYEES. At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 6th day of March, 1961, it was RESOLVED- That all full-time CitY Employees of the City of Tustin shall be entitled to one and one-fourth (l-l/4) days sick leave for each .month of their employment. For such days as an employee is ill and unable to per- form his regular duties he shall be excused from duty, and shall receive his regular pay for such days as he is absent from his duties for such illness. All illness for which benefits are claimed, in excess of three (3) consecutive days, shall be corroborated by a doctor's written statement, filed with the head of the Department of the said employee, and, if approved by said Department Head, then forwarded to be filed with the City Clerk. Unused sick leave may be accumulated from year to year, but shall not exceed a total accumulation of forty-five (45) days. Employees with sick leave accumulated and unused as of March l, 1961, shall retain such sick leave rights in addition to those provided here, to a total allowable accumu- lation not to exceed forty-five (45) days.
