HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 524RESOLUTION NO. 524 RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF ABANDONMENT The City Council of the City of Tustin does resolve and order as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin passed a Resolution of intention to abandon a portion of a public street at First Street and Tustin Avenues in the City of Tustin, more parti- cularly described in Resolution No. 518; and WHEREAS, in said Resolution a public hearing was set and said Resolution was published and three copies of notices of said hearing were duly posted along the area to be abandoned, and each and all of the aforesaid notices were duly made more than ten days prior to the date of said public hearing; and WHEREAS, on August 1, 1960, at 7:45 P.M., the City Council held the noticed public meeting, and has found that there is no present or anticipated future public use of said area to be abandoned, which area is described as: Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of Tustin Avenue and First Street, as laid out by the California Highway Commission; thence N. 0 17' 45" W., along the center line of said Tustin Avenue, a distance of 89.?? feet; thence, at right angles to the afore-described course, N. 89© 42' 1_5" E. a distance of fifty (..50) feet to a point on the easterly right of way line of said Tustin Avenue, said point also being the true point of beginning of this description; thence, S. 0°' 17' ~5" E. a distance of 12.95 feet to the beginning of a curve tangent, concave northeasterly, having radius of 27.00 feet; thence, southeasterly, along said curve through a central angle of ?0° 27' 36" an arc distance of 33.20 feet to the intersection of a non-tangent curve, concave northeasterly, having a radius of fifty (50) feet; thence, northwesterly, along said last-mentioned curve through a centra. 1 angle of 50© 09' 48", an arc distance of 43.77 feet. to the easterly right of way line of said Tustin Avenue and the true point of beginning. IT IS ORDERED that the above described property be, and the same hereby is abandoned and the City Clerk is hereby ordered to have recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Orange a certified copy of this Resolution and Order.
