HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 518RESOLUTION NO. 518 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN OF INTENTION TO ABANDON AND VACATE A PORTION OF STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN WHEREAS, the City Council. deems that the best interest of the public requires that a port,on of a public street described as, Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of Tustin Avenue and First Street, as laid out by the California Highway Commission; thence N. 0© 17' 4~" W., along the center line of said Tustin Avenue, a distance of 89.77 feet; thence at righ,t, angles to the afore- described course N 89° 42'15 E., a distance of fifty (50) feet to a point on the easterly right of way line of said Tustin Avenue, said point also being the true point of beginning of this description; thence S. 0© 17' 45" E. a distance of 12.95 feet to the beginning of a curve tangent, concave north- easterly, having a radius of 27.00 feet; thence south- easterly, along said curve through a central angle of ?0° 27' 36" an arc distance of 33 20 feet to the inter section of a non-tangent cur~e, concave northeasterly, having a radius of fifty (50) feet; thence northeasterly, along said last-mentioned curve through a central angle of 50° 09' 48" an arc distance of 43 ?? feet to the easterly right of way line of said Tustin Avenue and the true point of beginning. All as particularly shown on the Map thereof, which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and made a part hereof. be closed to public use, abandoned and vacated by the City, and that said portion of public street is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tustin to abandon the above described portion of public street in the City of Tustin, and that on the 1st day of August, 1960, at the hour of 7'45 P.M., the City Council will hold a public hear- lng in the City HaII of the City of Tustin, for the purpose of hearing all persons interested in or o'bjecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment, and after said hearing to make its order according to its findings from all of the evidence submitted, whether or not said street is unnecessary for present or prospective street uses. 244 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council oF the City of Tustin, California, at; a regular meeting thereof, held on the 18th day of July, 1960.
