HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 476 RESOLUTION NO. 476 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE AMENDMENT OF BUILDING LINE SETBACK REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY FRONTING ON "B" STREET, SOUTH OF SIXTH STREET, IN THE CITY OF TUS'TIN. WHEREAS, an application has been filed with the City gouncil of the City of Tustin requesting that the building line setback requirements on a psrcel of property fronting on "B''' Street, South of Sixth Street, be amended from 17 feet to 5 feet; and WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to have the building line setbeck requirements uniform on both sides of "B'' Street, South of Sixth Street; and WHEREAS, public necessity, convenience, general welf~re and good zoning practice require that proceedings be initiated, at this time, for the amendment of the building line setback requirements on "B" Street, South of Sixth Street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Tustin does declare its intention to commence proceed- ings on its own motion to amend the building line setback require- ments and Ordinance No. ?1, pursuant to Ordinance No. ?1 of the City of Tustin as:'amended, as follows' The building line setback requirements on each side of South "B" Street, from the So~th line of Sixth Street, Souther].y to the Santa Aha Freeway, to be five feet Easterly and Westerly from the existing Easterly and Westerly lines of '"B" Street, the said "B" Street being 66 feet in width. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, and that the Clerk of said Planning Commission give due notice of said hearing to consider amending said building line setback requirements and Ordinance No. ?1, all in accordance with the said Ordinance No. 71 of the City of T~stin, as amended.
