HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 461RESOLUTION NO. 461 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING MAP OF RICE'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN, DATED JULY, 1887. The City Council of the City of Tustin does resolve as follows: That the lithographic copy of a Map of "Rice's Addition to the City of Tustin ", which was surveyed and mapped in July, 1887, and which contains an accurate illustration of the Tustin Hotel which formerly stood on the bloack bounded by Second Street on the North, Third Street on the South and D Street on the West, be accepted by the City Council of the City of Tustin on behalf of the people of the City of Tustin. That said Map be delivered to the custody of the City Clerk of the City of Tustin, and that said Map be framed and exhibited in an appropriate location in the City Hall of the City of Tustin. That the City Council of the City of Tustin does, by this Resolution, express its thanks to the donor of said Map, Henry S. Campbell, for presenting this document of historical significance to the City of Tustin. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of March, 1959.
