A RESOLUTION. OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY
PURSUANT TO ANNEXATION OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY
ACT OF 1939,. DESCRIBING THE TERRITORY TO BE
ANNEXED, DESIGNATING THE NAME OF THE ANNEXATION
AND SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING PRO*
TESTS THERETO.

WHEREAS., there .has been presented to the City Council
of the Cit~ of Tustin a w~itten petition requesting that
territory hereinafter described' be annexed to the City of

WHEREAS, tbs City'Council 'of tho City of Tustin finds

that said pe~ttion was duly signed in accordance with tho
Annexation 'of Uninhabited ..Territory law by the owners of
more than one-fourth of the area and assessed valuation as
shown on the. last equalized assessment roll. of Orange County,
and in all other respects said petition conforms to the
laws of the State of California,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Tustin does resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of
Tustin does intend to proceed with the Annexation of terri-
tory hereinafter described under the provisions of the
Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939.
Section 2. The subject annexation shall be known
and designated as "A. R. MORRIS ANNEXATION. TO TUSTIN"
Section 3. That the City Council of the 'City of
Tustin will hear protests made by any .person owning real
property within the territory proposed to be annexed on
August 27, 1956, at 7:45 P- M. in the Council Chambers at
the City Hall, 145 West Third Street, Tustin, Cali.fornia.
Section ~. That the territory proposed to be
annexed is described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center
lines of Second Street and Glen Avenue (also
known as Tustin Avenue) as shown on a. Map of
Block "~" Bundy's Addition to Tustin, recorded
in Book 3, page 5, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California, said intersection
'being an angle Point in the boundary line of the
City of Tustin; thence Northerly along the center
line of Tustin Avenue (66 feet in width) and

Northerly prolongation thereof to an intersection with
the North line of First Street,80 feet in width; thence
Westerly along the Northerly ~line of First Street to the
beginning, of a curve tangent, concave Northeasterly; ._
thence Northwesterly along said tangent curve, having
a radius of 50.00 feet, through.an .angle of 890

· an arc distance of 7~.~2 f~et to a tangent
line, '~s.aid line being parallel with' and '50.00 feet
Easterly, measured at right angles from the center line
of Tustin Avenue; thence Northerly along said parallel line
450.11 feet to a point; thence Easterly parallel with the
center line of First Street, 537.96 feet to an intersection with the
East line of that certain ~outhwest 19.00 Acre parcel
shown on a map of Felipe Yorba Tract, recorded
in Book ~, page 206, Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California.; thence~..Sout-herly~ .along
First Street said East line 250.00 feet to a point 290.00 feet
587.96 feet Northerly of the center line of First Street; thence
to the east Easterly along~.a line that is parallel with the.
line of v center .line of~ said Felipe :..¥orba Tract .above mentioned;
thence continuing Easterly, parallel to the center
line of First Street, 20.00 feet to an intersection
with the center llne of Yorba Street (50' feet in
width, formerly 40 feet in width, as shown on a map
of Tract No. 396, recorded in Book 16, page l0
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California),
said center line of Yorba Street being the 'boundary
line of the City 'of Tusttn; thence Southerly,
Westerly, Southerly and Westerly following along the
boundary line of the City of Tustin to the point of
beginning.
