HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 390RESOLUTION NO. 390 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF S. C. PENINGTON CITY CLERK, AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN. WHEREAS, S. C. Penington has, by reason of ill health, tendered his written resignation as. City Clerk of"the City of Tustin; and WHEREAS, the said S. C. Penington has been a City Clerk of the City of Tustin continuously since the first day of April, 1950 and WHEREAS, said S. C. Penington has well and ably performed his duties as an official of the City of Tustin during his tenure of office, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby accept with deep regret the resignation of S. C. Penington, City Clerk, effective upon appointment of a successor to the office of City Clerk on the 23rd day of July, 1956. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that S. C. Penington be sent a copy of this resolution and be, and is hereby given a vote of thanks and appreciation for his services well and ably performed in fulfillment of his city office as City Clerk of the City of Tustin.
