A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING STREET TO
BE ADDED TO THE SYSTEM OF MAJOR CITY STREETS
OTHER THAN STATE HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, AND REQUESTING APPROVAL THEREOF BY
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, DIVISION OF
HIGHWAYS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ALLOCATION THERETO, AND EXPENDITURE
THEREON, 0F THE NET PROCEEDS OF THE PER GALLON
TAX ON MOTOR VEHICLE FUEL, PURSUANT TO SECTIONS
194 AND 195 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, under the terms and p~ovisions of Section 19~
and 19~ of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Calif-
oPnia, it is incumbent upon the City Council of the City of
Tustin to determine, select and designate a system of majo~
streets, othe~ than state highways, subject to the approval of
the Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, State of
California, for the purpose of allocation thereto and expendi-
ture thereon of the per gallon tax on motor vehicle fuel to be
paid to the City of Tustin, for use upon major city streets, other
than state highways, within the City of Tnstin, under the pro-
visions of said Sections 194 and 195 of the .Streets and Highways
Code of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the 'City C ounci 1
of the City of Tustin does hereby determine, select and desig-
nate as major city streets to be added to the system of major
city streets of the City of Tustin, subject to the approval,
which approval is hereby requested, of the Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways, of the State of California, upon
which may be used part of the net proceeds of the per gallon
gas tax on motor vehicle fuel to be paid to the City of Tustin,
under' the provisions of Sections 19~ and 195 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the following
designated street, as shown upon the official street map of
the City of Tustin, adopted February 17, 19~6, to wit:
East Sixth Street from the East line of "B"

66 feet in width and 0.126 miles in length
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tus.tin on January 23, 1956.
