A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN DESCRIBING BOUNDRIES OF JOHN A.
PRESCOTT'S PETITION FOR ANNEXATION AND DE-
SIGNATING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PRO-
TESTS BY PROPERTY OWNERS INCLUDED WITHIN THE
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION
AND DESIGNATING THE NAME OF SAID ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, JOHN A. PRESCOTT has submitted a petition to~
annex certain property to the City of Tustin; and
WHEREAS, he is the owner of more than twenty-five per-
cent of said territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, there are less than twelve registered voters
residing within said territory,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That said territory proposed to be annexed is described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of
"E" Street and Third Street as shown on a Map of
Tract' No. 555 recorded in Book 26, on page 15, Mis-
cellaneus Maps, records of Orange County, California,
said point of beginning being an angle point in the
boundry line of the City of Tustin.
Thence Northerly, along center line of "E" Street,
also known as P~ospect Avenue, ~99.0 feet to the
Westerly prolongation of the North line of said
Tract No. 555 with the center line of said "E" Street,
said point also being an angle point in the boundry
line of the City of Tustin.
Thence Easterly along City boundr$~ line, and along
the Easterly prolongation thereof, 33~.0 feet to the
Northeast co~ner of said Tract No. 555.
Thence Southerly along the Easterly line of said
Tract No. 555, and the Southerly prolongation thereof
599,0 feet to the center line of Third Street, also
being an angle point in the City boundry line.
Thence Westerly al ong center line of Third Street
and along City boundry line 335.0 feet to the point
of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ths~ the name given to said
annexation shall be "PRESCOTT'S ANNEXATION."
BE IT F~YRTHER RESOLVED, that heretofore on the llth -
day of October, 1954, the Boundry Commission of the County of
Orange has approved the hereinabove description of said pro-
posed annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Tustin will hear protests to be made by any person
owning real property within the territory herein above de-
scribed at the City Hall, City Council Chambers, on November
22, 1954, at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P. M.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed
to comply'with the provisions of Section 35311 of the Govern-
ment Code of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tusttn this 11th day of October, 1954.
