HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 33925O RESOLUTION NO. 339 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN DETERMINING THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE · BIDDER FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF MAIN STREET BE- TWEEN CALIFORNIA STREET AND "D" STREET (U. S. HIGHWAY 101) (PROJECT NO. 18) AND AWARDING CONTRACT THEREFOR. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin op- ened sealed bids, for certain street work to.be done, on May 4, 1953, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M.; and WHEREAS, said bids so received have been canvassed by the City Engineer and he has reported his recommendations concerning said bids, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the bid of Sully Miller Company for the improve- ment of Main Street, between California Street and "D" Street, (U. S. Highway 101) (Project No. 18), all in the City of Tustin, was the lowest and best bid received, and the City Council of the City of Tustin does resolve that said bid be accepted on the basis of the unit prices bid therefor as shown in the bid of Sully Miller Company on file in the office of the City Clerk. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized and directed to execute the contract for said work in accordance with said proposal, all as set forth in the plans and specifications for said project PASSED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting on the 7th day of May, 1953.
