GENTRY' S PETITION FOR ANNEXATION AND DESIGNATING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS BY PROP- ERTY OWNERS INCLUDED WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION. WHER~S, B. R. Gentry has submitted a petition to annex certain p~operty to the City of Tustin; and WHEREAS, he is the sole owner of said territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, there are less than twelve registered voters re- siding within said territory, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said territory proposed to be annexed is described as follows: Begirhuing at the northeast corner of Lot 7 in Block ~2 as shown on a "Map of a Part of Tustin" recorded in Book 13 on page 81, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California. Thence Westerly along the northerly line of said ~ot 7 in Block 42 and along the westerly prolongation thereof a distasteef167.50 feet to the center line of "E" Street as shown on said map, said center line of "E" Street being the easterly boundry line of the City ef Tustin. Thence southerly along the center line of said "E" Street and along the easterly boundary line of the City of Tustin, to the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 11 in Block 42 ef said map. Thence easterly along the westerly prolongation ef the southerly line of said Let 11 and along the southerly line of said Lot 11 a distance of 167.50 feet to the southeast corner thereof. Thence northerly along lot lines to the northeast corner of Let 7 in Block 42 of said map to the point of begt..nning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the name given to said annexation shall be "B. R. GENTRY ANNEXATION." B~E IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Tustin will hear protests to be made by any person owraing real property within the territor~y hereinabove de- scribed at the City Hall, City Council Chambers, on March 2, 1953, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is di~- ected to comply with the previsions of Section 35311 of the Gover~~'¥Code of the State of California. 234 PASS~ AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of t he City Council of the City of Tustim this 19th day of January, 1953.
