A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN APPROVING THE PROPOSED ROUTE OF THE
EXTENSION OF THE SANTA FREEWAY SOUTH OF FIRST
STREET TOWARDS EL TORO, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS,. the City Council has met with M. E. Cessna,
District Engineer of the Division of Highways, Department of
Public Works, for the purpose of examining and discussing the
,
proposed route for .~.1~be extension of the Santa Aha Freeway South
of First Street towards E1 Toro, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City Council does hereby expresm its approval
of the proposed routing for the extension of the Santa Ana Free-
way South of First Street towards E1 Toro, California, and that
said City Council does hereby urge that steps be taken to expedite
the adoption of the proposed ~oute as a freeway, and furthe~ de-
clares that public hearings on said matter will not be required
by the City of Tustin.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall for-
ward two certified copies of this Resolution to the Department
of Public Works, Division of Highways, Attention: M. E. Cessna,
District Engineer.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting held on the
20th day of May, 1952, at the hour of 3:15 o'clock P. M.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Court-
cil, of the City of Tustin is five; that the foregoing Resolution
was passed and adopted by a majority of the said City Council at
a special meeting thereof held on the 20th day of May, 1952, at
ghe hour of 31:15 o'clock P. M., by tho following vote, to wit;:

Councilmen: Humeston, Miller, Gray, Bacon, Teter.
NOES: Councilmen: None
