HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 278RESOLUTION NO. 278 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN AUTHORIZING EMPLOYMENT OF A DEPUTY ASSESSOR AND PRESCRIBING THE TERM OF EMPLOYMENT AND RATE OF PAY WHEREAS, the City Cler~ and Ex-officio Assessor of the City of Tustin is unable to devote such time to the duties of assessing the property within the City of Tustin due to the or- dinary and usual duties required of him as City Clerk and Clerk of the City Court; and WHEREAS, the assessing of p~operty within the City of Tustin must be done promptly and in an efficient and regular manner; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That Arthur 0. Park, a resident of Tustin, California, be appointed Deputy Assessor to assess the property, b~th real and personal, within the City of Tustin for the purpose of deter- mining its true valuation for property tax purposes; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Arthur O. Park shall commence work on or about April 1, 1951. He shall be paid at the rate of $300.00 per month f~om said date of April 1, 1951, until the aforesaid assessing has been completed by him and equalized by the City Council sitting as the Boa~d of Equaliza- tion. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the hours of wo~k shall be from 8:30 A. M. to 5:00 P.' M. each week day, 'excepting Saturday, when the hours shall be from 9:00 A. PARK, a resident of Tustin, Calif ornia, be appointed Deputy Assessor to assess the property, both real and personal, within the City of Tustin for the purpose of determ its true valuation for property tax purposes; and BE IT FURTHF~R RESOLVED that said ARTHUR 0. PARR shall commence work on or about April 1, 1951. He shall be paid at the rate of X300.00 per month from said date of April 1, 1951 until the aforesaid assessing has been completed by him and equalized by the City Council sitting as the Board of Equalization. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the hours of work shall be Prom 8:30 A. M~ to 5:00 P.
