HARPER, the reg~arly elected, qualified and acting City Treas- urer, tendered his resignation in writing as Treasurer of the City of Tustin; and WHEREAS, on said date the City Council of said City duly and regularly accepted said ~esignation to become effective on March 5, 1951, thereby creating a vacancy in said office of said City Treasurer; and WHEREAS, it appears that WILLIAM S. LEINBERGER has been a resident of the City of Tustin, California, for the time required by law and is otherwise qualified to serve as City T~easurer for said City: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the resignation of IDUS HARPER, City Treasurer, is hereby accepted; and BE IT FURTHER REsoLVED that WILLIAM S. LEINBERGER be and he hereby is appointed City Treasurer of the City of Tustin to fill the vacancy of IDUS HARPER, a regularly elected City Treasurer, and said WILLIAM S. LEINBERGER shall hold sai~ pc- si tion of City Treasurer for the remaining portion of the un- expired term of said City Treasurer, to-wit, until the regula~ election can be held in April ef 1952~. Said Resolutien shall take effect immediately. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of March, 1951.
